Initiatives
We started by advocating for the preservation of our waterfront. Our efforts have grown to include bringing together like-minded individuals and groups in our community to pursue initiatives that serve our shared goals. Here are some of the initiatives we currently have underway.
Silver Lake Revitalization
Mission: revitalize and secure Silver Lake and its wetland for the community to enjoy.
Misner Dam Pony Truss Bridge
Mission: repair and install the Misner Dam Pony Truss Bridge in a public waterfront area.
Waterfront Development Oversight
Mission: ensure the development and use of the Port Dover Waterfront will enhance the public’s visual and physical access.
Lighthouse Trail
Mission: promote the value of a public trail connecting the Lynn Valley Trail to the Port Dover Lighthouse.
